Educator

Christine believes in creating inclusive, inquiry-based learning environments where all students can be challenged and supported.

As a graduate student she was a Lead TA for the Department of Computer Science and has been a teaching assistant for an introductory computer science course.

Christine's identity as an educator has evolved from an education outreach volunteer while working for NASA to a classroom teacher coaching junior high students in LEGO robotics competitions, then to an advisor for undergraduate design teams and the founder of a high-school level all-girls robotics team.

Each experience has been an opportunity to empower others and to learn from them.
